F.A.Q.
Q: How many pages are in an issue?
A: Usually, 6 (5 pages of comic and 1 cover page). The first issue has 7 pages.
Q: Do you have a stockpile of comic pages?
A: Yes.
Q: I'd like to advertise in the print edition of the Stupiders. How can I do that?
A: Send us an e-mail at [email protected]. E-mail with the word advertisement in the subject box will be read first, as it is automatically sorted into it's own special folder. Feel free to attach a copy of your add smaller than 2MB in jpg, gif or png format.
Q: What advertisement sizes are available for the print edition of the Stupiders?
A: There are four sizes : business card sized, double sized (the size of two business cards on top of each other), half page and full page. For more information, feel free to contact us at [email protected] .
Q: If I get a black and white add, should I provide a color version for printing, in case I change my mind?
A: We recommend that you provide a black and white copy of your add so that you can control the contrast of the image. Otherwise, an advertisement which is vivid and easy to read in color, may be almost illegible in black and white!
Q: The print editions have stereograms (like Magic Eye) in them. Will they be available online soon?
A: No, sorry : the stereograms are only available in the monthly print editions.
Q: What is the difference between the print edition and the online version?
A: A new print edition is released monthly, thanks to our advertisers, with a new stereogram and varying activities, such as word finds and number squares. The online version is usually a month (or more) behind the print edition and serves as an archive for those who have missed an issue or just don't live in the L/A area of Maine.
